Thoracic Pain

Thoracic Pain is categorized by dull or aching pain in the Thoracic spine area (the middle of the spine) and does not radiate outward. In many instances, this pain can come about suddenly after activity or overexertion.

One of the primary symptoms that patients with Thoracic Pain experience are muscle spasms and stiffness of the muscles of the middle back. This is generally worse in the morning and may persist throughout the day. This pain may be intermittent or persistent depending on the injury.

It is important to seek medical attention if you are experiencing Thoracic pain as this is often a symptom of a more severe condition.

Signs and symptoms of Thoracic Pain may include:

  • Intermittent pain or persistent pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Stiffness of the Thoracic spine
  • Limited range of motion
  • Sensitivity to touch
