
Kathleen McKenna is a compassionate and driven Family Nurse Practitioner with almost 8 years of experience here at Union County Orthopaedic Group and 3 years in pain management, complemented by 6 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, providing care to complex burn, medical, and surgical patients. She holds a Master’s degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Pace University, where she graduated in December 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University, earned in May 2011. Kathleen is an AANP-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a registered Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of New Jersey.
Her diverse clinical background includes pediatrics, adult medicine, and women’s health, gained through her work with skilled physicians across various practices in northern New Jersey. Kathleen excels in patient assessment and is committed to delivering holistic care that addresses the emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychosocial aspects of health.
Currently, Kathleen serves as a Registered Nurse at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, on the Burn Step Down Unit. In this prestigious facility within the RWJ Barnabas Health Care System, she collaborates with outstanding burn physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses to provide the highest standard of care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
