About
Dr. Kevin Mesina specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spine, joint, muscle, and nerve conditions, helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy. He is fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine from OSS Health in York, Pa. Dr. Mesina provides comprehensive, non-surgical care for neck pain, back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, arthritis, tendon injuries, peripheral nerve disorders, and other musculoskeletal conditions. His expertise includes advanced image-guided procedures with both X-ray and Ultrasound guidance, electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS), regenerative medicine techniques, and minimally invasive spine interventions. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Virginia Health, where he served as Chief Resident, demonstrating a commitment to leadership, education, and excellence in patient care. Prior to residency, he completed an Internal Medicine internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Mesina believes that every patient deserves an individualized treatment plan. He takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, whether that means returning to work, staying active, competing in sports, or simply enjoying daily life with less pain. His approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate care, focusing on treatments that improve quality of life while helping patients avoid unnecessary surgery whenever possible. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Mesina has contributed to research and education in spine care, musculoskeletal medicine, and rehabilitation. He remains actively involved in national medical organizations and continues to stay at the forefront of advances in interventional and regenerative treatments.
